TPT4KC This Week!

A little voice inside my head reminded me it was Monday today. Which was a good thing because I was/am still completely on holiday time!! That same little voice also reminded me to get on the computer to get the TPT4KC updates out too!!

I have a couple of one-off additions to ask for prayer on this week.

1. (This was sent to me by a wonderful woman from Bear Creek UMC) - please add Christina Hernandez Hague, a Mother of three boys 8 and under. She has been battling leukemia for the last 2 years, got a stem cell transplant in April and has been on life support since, till her body produces healthy bloodcells on its own. There is another group praying for her tomorrow at 7 am, so I thought I would add her to our list since it was in the time frame some of us usually pray!

2. Please pray for Sarah Fernandez and all her teammates who head out for Anchorage from Austin in the Texas 4000 ride. They leave out on Friday and Sarah is riding for Team Sophia! Please pray for their safety, stamina, encouragement and speed over their 70 day ride!!

So, in honor of Christina, Texas 4000 and all these angels & caregivers who keep plugging along through their treatment, enduring horrible side-effects, out-of-strength bodies and worn-out spirits, I picked a verse from what is fast becoming my favorite chapter of the Bible - Isaiah 40. (You probably know these too...)

Verses 28-31.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
