Well - we have a couple of new kids to add to the list and some major updates - so please be praying! I know you will and I know it will be so powerful!! Thank you!!
Please pray for the strength of these children - especially the bodies of these precious ones because they can just get so worn out and the medicine they receive (as well as the whole process to even GET their medication, is very, very taxing)!
The focus verse is Malachi 4:2:
But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.
What an awesome picture - to imagine all these that we are praying for with the energy to run and leap and celebrate their youth with fervor, praising The Lord for His Healing all the way!!
Sophia Vogel (4, soft tissue sarcoma behind left eye) - Last outpatient chemo tomorrow!!! Pray her bone marrow has responded and her immunity is up. He answered our prayers last week to keep her healthy, He will do it again!
Anna Grace Dennis (7, cancer free from brain stem tumor) - Anna Grace got an MRI today (Monday) and did well. They haven't received results yet and the area they scanned was in the front part of her head, versus the back where the tumor was. Her headaches have been less painful, as well as her nausea. Pray they figure out the answer and peace will continue to reign over this family!
Rylee Beard (5, Will's tumors in bladder/abdomen) - Possibly will have outpatient chemo this week.
Holden Underwood (1, ALL/MLL) - Baby Holden is still inpatient and is needing his central line replaced, again. He received intrathecal chemo (in his spine) and they are going to have to remain at TCH till they get his infected line out and put in a new one in. PLEASE pray for patience, attentive and kind staff and to be at the top of the PACU list!!
Brennan Scurlock (1, neuroblastoma) Inpatient chemo this week at TCH
Courtney Pette (16, lymphoma) - continuing with outpatient chemo this week.
Addison Marshall (17, ALL) - His car was broken into and brand new iPhone, wallet and iPod were stolen this weekend, along with his St. Peregrine medal that was very special to him - following a full week of Proton Therapy. Pray for patience, hearts of forgiveness and continued strength for this man of God!
Natalie Fraker (4, astrocytoma) - suffering from complications since April from the tumor and/or the process of getting rid of the tumor. Please pray she will be revived, healed and strengthened!
Kristina Barrett (9, sarcoma in lungs and arm) - Started new medicine (protocol) at TCH today (Monday) after her last scan showed growth. She will go back tomorrow and Wednesday to monitor her blood. Please pray for positive attitudes for the whole family, as they are from Lake Charles and she has siblings!
