TPT4KC This Week!

I usually try and get up early on Tuesday mornings to do these posts.  But God had another plan this week - one I feel like I was actually involved with this time!  We've been praying for rain as Texas and the Southwest U.S. have been under a severe drought.  Me and some friends from FaceBook and Bible Study spent several days every morning at 8 am praying for rain - asking for healing based on 2 Chronicles 7:14.  God heard our prayers!

It rained off and on all weekend, including Monday morning during my usual run time, so we had to switch days.  I can't complain!  It feels like a breakthrough  and there is much renewed hope that God will continue to hear us and provide the weather we need to recover!

So, despite being a little late to the game this morning - here is our list!  I don't want to spoil it with much more chatter - there are some big milestones for our little people on here and I am SO Thankful!

Let's get to praying because.........................PRAYER WORKS!

Completed Treatment - Pray for them to stay cancer and illness free!
Sophia Vogel (5, soft tissue sarcoma behind left eye) – Feeling good and growing hair!  <"Team Sophia" on FB>

Anna Grace Dennis (7, ependymoma) - still having headaches and bad stomach aches.  She and her Mom leave for St. Jude’s in Memphis Sunday for a check up – including MRI.  Please pray they have a safe trip, get answers and wisdom on what to do to ease her issues.  Please also pray The Lord provides a referral to the pediatric neurologist of His choice for her ongoing care. <"Team Anna Grace" on FB>

Rylee Beard (5, Will's tumors in bladder/abdomen) – Feeling great and her port comes out next Tuesday!

Courtney Pette (16, lymphoma) - Back to normal life, follow up 6 weeks scans in October.  <"Team Courtney" on FB>

Tristan Smit (3, ependymoma)

Aiden McSpadden (2, AML relapse) – He has completed his chemo, so the next step is a bone marrow transplant.  That will require a lot of recovery and prayer, but for now, we are praising God for how well he is feeling!  <"Angels for Aiden" on FB>

Brennan Scurlock (1, neuroblastoma) – Still feeling poorly from the chemo but has yet to develop mouth sores from the one on Sunday – pray he makes it past Wednesday without any and he is in the clear!  He is very tired, although he still tries to play.  His mom, Cindy, is exhausted and facing dealing with a whole host of bad reactions from the stem cell transplant he has received.  Pray he doesn’t get the worst of it and that she can rest in God’s power!  <"Brennan Scurlock" on FB>

I have to comment on the rain, Oregon has been hoarding it all and we had flooding too recently. Today was very warm and sunny, like Texas but I prefer the cooler weather for working outside. Thanks for praying for Lincoln again. He is doing well.
